h-town...

i'm headed to houston tomorrow to see some of my favorite people! i've known tracey and alex since high school. when i set them up on their first date. oh yes i did. and they've been happy as larks ever since, thank you very much. (okay, there was that one little snafu in college, but other than that...happy, happy, happy.) we really were young back then. and we loved us some cincinnati reds baseball. good times at the stadium back in the day:i will brag and tell you i was maid of honor in tracey and al's wedding. but i did set them up, so they sort of owed it to me i guess. : )i've known (and loved) ellie and gus since they were born. i can't WAIT to have our annual "ahhh" competition this weekend! tracey and i even survived this car crash in a foreign country in 1989. my poor prelude...
there was also a little emergency room visit in the early 2000's. poor tracey had a real bad case of food poisoning. i'm pretty sure she still avoids pepperjack cheese.we even survived visits to post-college, poorly decorated apartments and our friendships remained unscathed. impressive, isn't it? as you can imagine, i'm real excited to make more memories with these life long friends this weekend! good times ahead!

Have a wonderful time. There's nothing like an old friend, who's known you and loved you through life. Enjoy!
