i almost forgot to tell y'all about my weekend. i know, aren't you SO RELIEVED i remembered. everybody just take a deep breath. i'm here now. and i've got pictures. you're shocked, i realize. so, the fun started saturday with lots and lots of basketball. i got to watch lots of my favorite little people play some hoops. it was a good time! then saturday night i got to help my friend sonja celebrate her birthday. isn't she cute:
all these ladies gathered to celebrate her:
we had dinner and then played a little card game called spoons. now, i don't know if y'all know this or not but i kind of like to win. and i like to trash talk about how i'm going to win even more. so you can imagine my shock when i was the first person out. it wasn't pretty. i edited lots of foul language and finally just had to succumb to my defeat:
but other than my terrible loss, it was a really really fun evening.
sunday i watched what really may be one of the best movies i've ever seen. if you like to laugh and cry and you don't mind a few bad words i highly recommend this movie:
after my afternoon at home i headed over the the gass'. i can't even begin to tell you how hard i laughed all night long. it all started with a crazy car ride and ended with a whole lot of wii dancing. i just adore these boys:
even if they did leave me all alone on the dance floor at one point:
such a fun weekend. i really am surrounded by the NEATEST, MOST FUN people here in b-town. it's good to remember that sometimes!

Man, that yellow sweater is SO stinking cute!!! :-) As is the girl in it!
Also--the best movie you've EVER seen? That is very high praise...and I haven't even heard of it... I must live under a rock. Going to check it out right now...
